TWELV^™ Chronaissance^™

Birthstone wristwatch

Unlike other timepieces, the Chronaissance birthstone watch includes a dial encrusted with each of the twelve gemstones designated as birthstones.

The dial turns incrementally once per month at the top of each month. This turning motion reveals a different birthstone, the birthstone assigned to the current month, through an aperture in the watchface.

Month: September (sapphire visible through aperture).

Chronaissance is the first timepiece in which the display of a particular gemstone is in and of itself is sufficient to indicate the current month.

Since all twelve birthstones would not look good together if viewed simultaneously, the Chronaissance watch is probably the first watch that successfully includes all twelve birthstones. It is one of the most luxurious timepieces ever created.
