Chess Game Mechanics for Deploying the Chess Board and Chess Pieces One at a Time

Unlike standard chess, the chess board itself must be deployed one tile at a time.

Only after a tile of the chess board has been deployed can a chess piece (pawn, bishop, etc.) enter the game.

Each turn, each player can deploy one tile and either move or deploy one chess piece.

Thus, a few moves into the game the board might look like this:

Some tiles may provide optional bonuses when deployed.

Once all tiles have been deployed, there is no more tile movement or deployment. The board is just a regular chess board. Chess pieces, once in play, must obey all the standard rules of chess.
