Smoke-Activated Emergency Response Radio and Loudspeaker

Unit equipped with radio transmission receiver, loudspeaker and smoke detection unit is mounted in home or office.

When in normal use, all radio transmissions received are ignored. But when smoke is detected, radio transmissions received on a predetermined frequency are played through the loudspeaker.

This mechanism allows emergency responders (e.g., fire personnel) to communicate to people in danger (e.g., "make your way to the back of the building, the back stairway is still passable").
