Sundow

Window-Mounted Solar Energy Collector
and Battery Recharger for Use in a Multi-Story Dwelling

Unit containing a battery charger (may be incorporated into an air conditioner as shown) is mounted in a window of an apartment or other building where roof-mounted solar collector is not an option for the user.

Solar panel on back of unit (facing away from building) is hingedly mounted to the rest of the unit so that it can pivot into place. Hand crank mechanism may optionally be included for raising and lowering of solar panel.
